Your post had a little bit of a nasty tone (fatties?) so, it’s fair to wonder about you. I have certainly been both fat and thin (am much thinner now, thanks to a medication I had to take). People do treat you differently when you are fat. I never realized until the first time I lost significant weight, suddenly I existed and strangers treated me differently. I don’t really care, my self worth is not vested in what people I don’t know think about me. Rather than call them fatties, I would prefer to help people with weight problems learn how to take it off and keep it off, which is a lifetime job.

This is utter garbage. Maybe the original poster needs to be woken up as to how the survivors actually looked.

As you stated that you have been both fat and thin so you know the difference between the two. I did not call anyone fat, I simply made the point that blaming society's standards for the size of one's own bum is ridiculous.

I knew I had put on weight when my clothes had gotten tighter. This might be a good indicator for those who don't have a clue.
