Coming from the intolerant side of the political spectrum, I think this is a complement. At times, imho, it is perfectly ok to be intolerant.
I have to say, the most intolerant people I know are my liberal friends. That’s one thing I enjoy about Face Book. My liberal friends out themselves as intolerant jerks all the time.
