Technically speaking, the Kennedy Center is not Congress, but the building — a monument to the first Roman Catholic president — is federally supported.

Luckily, this story has a happy ending. But how many ordinary Americans have a microphone or a TV show with which to make bureaucratic enormities like this public?

Lest we forget, the Kennedy Center’s forerunner as Washington’s premiere concert hall, Constitution Hall, run by the Daughters of the American Revolution, once tried to ban contralto Marian Anderson for the simple crime of being black. Here she is in action, singing the “Ave Maria” just to make the atheists and Schubert-haters crazy:

They walked in tandem, each of the ninety-two students filing into the already crowded auditorium. With their rich maroon gowns flowing and the traditional caps, they looked almost as grown up as they felt.

Dads swallowed hard behind broad smiles, and Moms freely brushed away tears.

This class would NOT pray during the commencements, not by choice, but because of a recent court ruling prohibiting it.

The principal and several students were careful to stay within the guidelines allowed by the ruling. They gave inspirational and challenging speeches, but no one mentioned divine guidance and no one asked for blessings on the graduates or their families.

The speeches were nice, but they were routine until the final speech received a standing ovation.

A solitary student walked proudly to the microphone. He stood still and silent for just a moment, and then, it happened.

All 92 students, every single one of them, suddenly SNEEZED !!!!

The student on stage simply looked at the audience and said,

'GOD BLESS YOU'

And he walked off the stage...

The audience exploded into applause. This graduating class had found a unique way to invoke God's blessing on their future with or without the court's approval.

LOL. The truth is that according to the personal judgement of ansel12, Glenn Beck isn't a Christian, because ansel12 doesn't believe Mormons are Christians.

Of course, Mormons include the Bible among the four books which they recognize as Scripture, and that belief in Jesus Christ is central to their faith, as evidenced by their official name, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

So perhaps you should say that, according to ansel12, Glenn Beck and the Mormons aren't Christian enough for your personal approval of that status before God.

This isn't correct, The Roman Catholic church says it, the Greek Orthodox say it, the Protestants say it, so your statement isn't true.

Any man that claims Christ as his sole salvation is entitled to call himself christian.

I've heard protestants call catholics polytheists.

When you are waiting on the call, and someone says "Make a circle, take a knee" and you either sling your rifle over your back or lay it on your knee pointing OUT so you can gather together and pray in Christ's name before stuff comes down, you don't argue fine points.

'And for what we are about to receive, please make us thankful.'

I've ended too many prayers with that to get into squabbles about details about doctrine.

But it's not my place to set you right.

In the end, we'll all know the Truth.

You brought up Catholics, here is what the church says about Mormonism.

But I have to ask: Are Mormons considered separated brothers and sisters? While their views are strange to say the least, they are still separated, and we should reach out to them. If we view them as something other than separated, doesn't that exclude ecumenism? I know that many view them as a cult, but aren't cult members separated as well?

Answer: The reason Mormons are not considered separated brethren is not because they aren't "separated" from the Church-they are-but they aren't "brethren" in the sense required.

The phrase separated brethren refers to those who, though separated from full communion with the Catholic Church, have been justified through baptism and are thus brethren in Christ. You are truly frightening. You actually don't grasp the difference between the sources you cite, and your personal acceptance and representation of those sources?

I don't care who says what. And I don't personally care what your position is on this issue, either. What I am pointing out is that you - personally - are making a judgement about the authenticity of Glenn Beck's/Mormonism's validity as Christian.

YOU are making that judgement, BASED on your sources. I'm just pointing out that YOU are doing that. "The churches" aren't doing that - YOU are.

And I'll bet you consider yourself conservative, too - right? You know, against the collectivisation of people, their merger into a mass of people who are not responsible for their personal decisions, who hide behind their political group - right?

But it's okay with a religion? You literally believe you are not personally responsible for your personal decision to front the teachings of your religion?

Well, I'm sure it will work on God. I mean, it's not like anyone in human history hasn't tried palming off their behavior on their church, or that such an attitude hasn't caused, oh, massive misery, suffering, and SIN in the past.

Yeah, God will just shrug and say, "Oh, it's not your fault. The Church told you to do it, so, hey, you're off the hook."

When a Mormons tell you that you will become a God, and that doesn't cause you to take a second look at their religion, then it would pay for you to go to whatever Christian church you belong to and ask about the truth of Mormonism and Christianity.
