Geez, admin, lighten up, I see really stupid stuff all the time in breaking but I’ve never seen such an uncool overreaction before.
“Knock it off - at your own peril” is certainly a mixed message. I read it as, “Well, it is not protocol and some might get huffy but your posts are powerful and fabulous and we will zot you if you stop.”
