Mark Levin today slammed NJ Governor Chris Christie for his sanctimonious attitude that the controversy over the Mosque at ground Zero is "just politics" and "is being used as a political football by BOTH parties!" He says that this attempt By Christie to make the two positions on the mosque (pro and con) equivalent is nothing more than a naked effort to portray himself as "above it all" and look down his nose (so to speak) at those who have the courage to oppose this thing (most prominently former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin--although Levin does not mention her by name).
Levin praised the courage of those who have stood up to Obama and Bloomberg and opposed this mosque. The "Great One" said that Christie was "dead wrong" to link the opposition to the mosque to intolerance.
Quote: "Just becasue you clobber public sector unions and cut your state's budget does not necessarily mean you are Presidential material." Levin also says he is concerned about Christie's immigration positions.
He tells Christie to: "get serious and take a position" rather than being afraid to "get your hands dirty" by taking a position. The clip is only 2:45 and is worthwhile to listen to.
Look at history and you will see that l enemies of liberty make that essnetially argument to justify abuses of liberty. It is a vague and meaningless catch phrase whihc is always used to ratioanize trampling on somone''s rights like "you can't shout fire in a croweded theater."
It’s one group whose goal is world domination by violence, non-stop since before 700 AD.
They have made themselves enemies. And they deserve to be treated that way.
If there are Moslems in the US who like America and American tradition and most importantly, vocally condemn the rest of Islam, fine with them.
The rest are enemies.
I look at history as well, and I see that Muslims regard compassion and understanding as weakness. SCREW them. I feel no good will toward anyone who does not condemn Hamas, such as this screwball imam.
Already, we have banned creches and Ten Commandments monuments from the public square, thanks to contemptible judges. So, we ARE having our rights turned on their heads. Ultimately, I care far more about the agony of the victims’ families knowing that a “Victory Mosque” is being built than I do for the nebulous “rights” of those who wish more of us dead!!
Islam is a statist political ideology bent on world domination, fouled even further by a cult religion veneer. It isnt any different than fascism or communism, except that its more virulent and dangerous than either.Well said.Property rights and free speech dont extend to those whose well-known and oft-stated goal is the destruction of our nation, its people, and the crushing of liberty.
The Constitution of the United States is not a suicide pact, or a license for fools to get our people killed.
RE: “I love Mark Levin...in a brotherly sort of way, of course, absolutely love him.”

Me too — I love Levin — Chris Christie is fine but he is no Levin!
The commies and the Nazis killed far more people.Actually, that's not true. If you confine your bodycounts to the 20th century than you are correct. But in earlier centuries there are huge deathtolls associated with the expansion of islam. In India, for example, recent scholarship puts the deathtoll at 80 million, minimum.
Welcome to FR ..................
You are utterly ignorant of her accomplishnments, scared shitless by her effectiveness, contextually vacuous and so pantingly eager to apply an impossibly and uniquely rigorous standard to Governor Palin that it is not even continuing any discussion with you.
Your alleged desire for an “intellectual conservative” is a transparent sham.
One parting bit of information: You anti-Palin propagandists are making no headway here with anyone. Not an inch.
Feel free to continue to beat your head against the wall.
