I am not discrediting the story....but NEVER trust a Muslim when they back off on something that offends non-Muslims.
Their Islamic Terrorist Hall of Fame is still in the works near Ground Zero....never trust the Muslims.
These are the same people that claimed they had peace with Israel....numerous times....only to attack later
I’m assuming they backed off because of the clear and present political repercussions. These Imams play chess with religion so to speak, and sometimes you gotta take a few lumps. I don’t trust them.
