I’m thinking of a nest of fire ants behind a tent with half a sandwich in it. Everything’s fine ‘till 3:30 in the morning when your sleeping bag is filled with them. The federal government is like a huge network of anthills, all connected to each other, completely infiltrating the landscape. Congress is just one of them. And obama... he’s merely a happy camper. Eradicating that many ants is a lot more work than Kristol is willing to let on. Overconfidence is dangerous.

My brother, who lives in South Carolina, swears that grits are the best thing for fire ants. They think you've given them a special treat, gorge on it and die.
