But 1) the economy's the main issue, and Republicans can't lose sight of that, and 2) there's plenty of room for public anger over Obama and the mosque without politicians getting in the way.
Don't stop talking about it or being angry about it, but let it be a real popular reaction, not something politicians call upon to score points.
Don't let the politicians take the issue away from you and don't make them look like they don't have other important issues to deal with.
Dissatisfaction and anger over this won't go away and will affect the election, but don't let it start to look like something politicians have ginned up, rather than a legitimate popular sentiment.
