HEREFORD, Ariz. (AP) - Tea party activists are gathering along a remote stretch of the Arizona-Mexico border about 70 miles west of Nogales. They're rallying Sunday on a private ranch in support of Arizona's controversial immigration law. A judge has put much of the law on hold.

The rally is being held near a stretch of the wall made of 15-foot steel posts set closely together to prevent people from crossing the border. People have attached flags with messages about curbing illegal immigration to the posts.

She needs to knock of her political crap and talk to some of the Feds whose job it is to control the border. I talked to one recently who is currently working there. He told me that the border is a circus and totally out of control. He then said that there isn’t anything we can do to stop the invasion.

Well I saw the head Baboon at DHS just say that the Border is totally secure.

She was probably referring to the fact no right wing extremists have illegally crossed over into Mexico.

“Controversial” my a$$. There’s nothing controversial about a country or a state wanting to secure it’s border with a foreign country.

Well I saw the head Baboon at DHS just say that the Border is totally secure. She is pathetic and insane.

When Crappy Nappy was our Gov she was constantly complaining that the Feds would not pay the bills she had sent them for incarceration costs and stated numerous times that the National Guard placed on the border had to be paid for by the Feds. My how changing ones hat also changes all you philosophies. This is the mark of a true politician - Juan McAmnesty also comes to mind from our state.

Sheriff Joe is going to be there!

He'll be on a tour of Southern Indiana later in august, and is scheduled for a noon cookout luncheon in Sullivan, IN on August 21st.

I really don’t see the border issue being necessarily a TEA party matter although most of its supporters doubtlessly are tired of the Feds falling down on their actual job while they aggressively intrude in other areas.

As i said it is as if the Federal government is trying to be a State rather then Federal Government.

To be honest I’ve had the lingering suspension that this has something to do with the international organizations Washington D.C. is trying to cede our sovereignty to.

I’m starting to wonder if we shouldn’t make like Belgium in response to the abdication of the Federal functions to the “UN” get rid of the Federal Government, seeing as it has been activity pushing itself out of the job.

There must be character and bravery among those
in the Tea Party. I live in Phoenix, and I wouldn't go
that close to Mexico for any amount of money. God Bless them.

Actually I was hoping fo some pics of the gathering itself. Helps to give one a sense of size and proportion of the event. Thanks. Maybe later we’ll see some. Keep up the good work.

For those don't think some us are on the FEBA (Forward Edge of the Battle Area) in this battle, check out the map below noting Fort Huachuca, Bisbee, Naco, Douglas, and Nogales.

Anyone that doesn’t think your area is on the FEBA has no clue how much country is involved in this border battle. The cartels are meeting very little resistance to their activities on this side of the border, so they keep spreading out and using more and more area in their smuggling operations.
