This is good news. As I figured, Crist as a no-party candidate is slipping. Even better is that with Meek as the nominee, more democrats will stick with him rather than go to Crist. Also consider that Crist's name will appear WAAAAAY down on the ballot. That will also cost him.

Latest Mason-Dixon poll shows Meek crushing Greene 40 to 26 percent in Democrat primary. Good news because Rubio can more easily win with Meek as the Democrat nominee.

Crist has long been unusually popular among Democratic voters -- black voters in particular -- for a lifelong Republica Well that explains why Crist has had his lips firmly planted on 0's butt this week. 0 finally found a candidate that he actually helps.

Since this oil mess Charlie Crist has acted like Chuckie (Freaken) Schumer when it comes to running to get in front of a t.v. camera.
Mr. Rubio is far from perfect and I do not trust his amnesty stance but he is heads and shoulders above Crist.

Crist has switch to a full-blown Dim. Saw an interview yesterday where he stated he supported Pres Obama on the Ground Zero Mosque. That statement sealed his fate.

Crist has long been unusually popular among Democratic voters -- black voters in particular -- for a lifelong Republican. But the new poll results show he may have trouble hanging onto enough Democratic voters Whoa, who could have figured this one out !!!!
Meeks is a democrat and black.
Blacks will vote for him even if his name was Alvin Green!

Are there any recent polls on the Allen West race.
I think of all the races that one excites me the most.
While it is just a minor House seat, West’s future potential to do great things for the Party and for the Nation would take off.

"A new poll shows Marco Rubio slipping ahead of Gov. Charlie Crist in the U.S. Senate race" Slipping AHEAD?? In most objective reporting, the word 'slipping' is followed by the word 'behind'.

With Meek as the Democratic nominee, the poll shows Rubio, a Republican, leading a three-way race against Meek and Crist by a statistically significant margin -- Rubio 38 percent, Crist 33 percent, Meek 18 percent and 11 percent undecided. With Greene as the Democratic nominee, Crist remains in first place, but by a margin so narrow it's a statistical tie -- Crist 39 percent, Rubio 38 percent, Greene 12 percent and 11 percent undecided.Did I miss something? Or the author simply showed his preference?

It’s important to defeat Crist.
Otherwise I think he is the Soros backed third party candidate for President in 012 attempting to give Baraq a Clintonian plurality win.

This race is a win-win situation — if Rubio wins, the nutjobs here will start their non-stop round-the-calendar round-the clock pissing and moaning about Rubio’s pro-immigration stands; if Crist wins, the nutjobs here will blame Rubio for throwing in with the pro-amnesty crowd; if the Demwit wins, it’ll be Rubio’s fault, same reason...

That’s a lot of movement in a short period of time. Seems to me it was only 2 or 3 weeks ago that Crist was ahead in the same 3-way by 4 or 5 points.

The poll also indicates that Crist, a no-party candidate, is heavily dependent on support from Democrats, and if Democratic voters move toward a nominee of their own party, Crist's support will erode. I wish Republicans had understood this when Arnold first ran for office.

Crist killed his chances by sucking up to Obama and agreeing with the ‘Build the mosques, To hell with America” crowd. Now let Greene win the Democrat primary and it's smooth sailing for Rubio. Greene hurting Rubio doesn't make any sense no mater who or what poll says so. Greene will HAVE to attack Crist because Crist is the “make believe” polls front runner. If Meek wins Menendez will have a huge problem. He CAN'T waste a dime on Meek, BUT he can't ignore him in favor of the not so secret support the Democrats are giving Crist. Meek dollars will come directly from Boxer and Reid and that ain't happenin’. Pull up a chair and pass the popcorn this will be fun to watch.

This is great news and I expect that Rubio will slowly pull farther ahead as the campaign progresses.
I’m going to claim some bragging rights here- I was one of the first Freepers (perhaps the first) to support Rubio over Crist, even though Crist appeared to be more electable.

Crist’s slobbering on Obama’s backside in offering him cover for the GZM endorsement will not play well. Anticipate further erosion of Good Time Charlie’s numbers in the coming week.
