Is the federal Real ID Law still in force? It said drivers licenses from states that do not require proof of citizenship or legal residency cannot be used for air travel or other federal ID.

When I got my Washington drivers license I had to wait for 45 minutes in a room full of illegals. I had to prove my residency in the state, which I had trouble convincing them the contract on my new home was proof of residency. I came really close to not getting my license that day.

Meanwhile a stream of Mexicans were trading in their Oregon drivers licenses for Washington licenses without having to show anything.
