And China is anti-religion. Didn’t they have a “squabble” a while back with the “religion of peace” brigade in one of their provinces?

Obama and company are saying “Hey China, resume buying our T-bills or we will deprive you of resources in your sphere of influence”. It’s a trading incentive.

Obama and company would do anything to keep the money flowing into their coffers.

It is all about money. It always has been. Obama and his low class thugs are mostly into looting our tax dollars for themselves under the name of “economic justice”. If he gets us in a war for that, then its just other people getting killed - presenting no moral difficulty for the Democrats, union thugs etc..

In an inner city its a gang racket. On the global scale its called marxist politics.

President Obama is bringing a Carrier into the Yellow Sea because North Korea sunk a South Korean military ship. This is serious business and North Korea could start something by accident or design that could touch off the next great war.

USA now allies with the VIET CONG?

During my days in the military we fought the VC.

The world is turned upside down.

Do we have BASES in Communist Vietnam? (shock & awe)

Good point! The Chinks could nuke Houston, Dallas, and New Orleans with missles from their submarines in the Gulf of Mexico!

I’m suprised Bo hasn’t asked them to take part in the excercises.

I would MUCH prefer the US wait and face off eyeball-to-eyeball with Red China under both a Republican President (with skillful advisors) such as President Palin and a Republican Congress and Senate, than with this idiotic, amateurish, power-hungry Obama crew currently at the US diplomatic and military wheel.

They are liable to screw it up seven ways to Sunday and then some, and we will all have a hefty price to pay. All for the sake of some stupid "October Surprise".

The United States used military bases in JAPAN with Japanese allied cooperation, in 1950, less than five years after our mercilessly fighting with them to a bloody pulp on both sides, with much animosity still intact, to attack the Communist North Koreans and Chicoms, so anything is possible with old adversaries, and time can turn things around on their head, you better believe it.

I may get peppered with buckshot in cyberspace here for such a blasphemy, but I do believe that many U.S. Vietnam Vets will be actually alive to witness some sort of military or intelligence cooperation between the US military and the Vietnamese Communists (former NVA and VC), in an alliance against Red China, maybe even in the field together in some sort of joint action, the red and yellow commie Viet flag right next to the Stars and Stripes. Over 35 years have passed since the very end of our dust-up with Hanoi and the PRG. That is an eternity in world politics and power shifts.

You’re 100% right...but for an old war horse like me and many other Vietnam dog soldiers, “Victor Charlie” will always be the enemy.
