As I mentioned in a previous post, book burnings were undertaken by the Nazis and Communists with and without approval. Such approval is absolutely irrelevant: it's the methods that those thugs considered applicable --- that's what matters.

For centuries, America was different from even Europe and certainly from the third world in that an average person here believed that the ends are no justification for the means, and that some means are completely unacceptable.

No longer. On this, supposedly conservative, forum one must explain why book burning is unAmerican.

Well, you think as a third-world thug and don't mind resorting to fascist and communist methods --- enjoy, then, being ruled by a third-world thug. You've won, congratulations!
