In Israel, there are only two kinds of Arab Israelis: Muslim, Christian. The Druze can be a third subset that is a type of Muslim. The fact that this is a "Arab Christian" does not mean that he is a Christian. It simply means that his family is not Muslim. The fact that the news media is calling him a "Arab Christian" is actually accurate. It is like saying: Israeli, but not:
- Jewish
- Muslim.
