I remember Churchill deep in the early war being castigated for making alliances with Stalin (with the Soviets his bitter enenmies in the past) against Germany when Hitler moved east, he stated:

If Hitler invaded Hell, I would make at least a favourable reference to the devil in the House of Commons.

Ann is involved and out front. Like you, she is not one to stay back trying to look pure for political posturing. She has guts.
