Hard to tell. As always, I'm sure there is more going on here than we are aware of. It would be good if more folks here were calling the NRA asking them what their thinking is.

On the one hand, the NRA says that they evaluate each candidate on the single issue of gun rights, without the consideration of the bigger picture (which would be the Pelosi Puppy Syndrome).

BUT

On the other hand, they are considering endorsing Reid so as to keep Schumer on the sidelines. Big picture or individual consideration?
