Jeez, the level of ignorance and downright stupidity on this thread is unbelievable. I agree that if she can’t handle homophobic taunts, she sure as hell can’t handle the stress of war. But really, isn’t it about time for some of you to grow up and out of your own sexual insecurities?
No mature adult who is secure in his own sexuality cares what other adults do in their bedrooms. The fact that some of you are so threatened speaks a lot more about you than it does about this girl who, to this point, was able to place in the Top 10 of her class in one of the toughest institutions in America.
FR is a conservative site. We do not appreciate our members fighting against us on our conservative values and issues. If you wish to support homosexual marriage or homosexuals in the military or hate crimes against us for speaking out against government promotion of homosexuality that’s your business, but you’d better do it somewhere else and not on FR. If you value your posting privileges, that is. FR is pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-marriage, pro-military, pro-traditional American conservatism and it is a privilege to post here. Those who support the godless liberal/Marxist destruction of our free society and our country are free to exercise their free speech rights elsewhere. I won’t stand in your way.
It is not what this woman does in the privacy of her own bedroom that is the problem. Remember? We didn’t ask!!!!!
The problem is that she wants to very publicly tell us what she does and that she wants the rest of us to change our opinion of what she is telling us that she does.
To add to her faults: she lied, tried to deceive us all and then, when she got her feelings hurt when it turned out that other people **weren’t ** lying, she has to make this very public exhibition and explanation of her selfish wants!

This news story and discussion are very relevant. Could be a set-up for a lawsuit to overturn DADT. A perfect example of why homosexuals should not be in the military, "closeted" or not. The women cadet thing is another issue, but the main point is abnormal, psychologically sick men and women who are sexually attracted to the same sex do NOT NOT NOT belong in the military. DADT should be repealed, and the previous standard of no homosexuals whatsoever should be re-instated.
And MIlle - if homosexuals did what they did in their own bedrooms, and not on TV, not on public streets, not in parades, not in public bathrooms, not in rest areas, not on beaches or in parks, not on hiking trails and did not try to force acceptance, tolerance or "celebration" of their mental illness on everyone else - and especially KEPT THEIR PERVERSION AWAY FROM OUR CHILDREN AND OUT OF THE SCHOOLS - no would care.
Unfortunately, they do not keep their private sexual sickness private. I suggest it is high time they closet themselves again.
Oh - and by the way, the canard about "sexual insecurities" (ie anyone who doesn't like the homosexual agenda and/or thinks sexual perversion is icky is really secretly attracted to the same sex) is really, really old and tired. It's bogus, made up, nonsense.
