Lesbian cadet quits West Point
Times Herald Record ^ | 2:00 AM - 08/12/10 | Adam Bosch

WEST POINT — Cadet Katie Miller said she couldn't listen to her comrades toss around the word "fag" anymore, and making up stories about fictional boyfriends was driving her crazy.

So Miller, a lesbian who ranks No. 9 in her class of future Army leaders, stepped out the closet last weekend and quit West Point.

"I thought I would have the strength to re-closet myself," said Miller, who was openly gay to her family and friends in high school. "I completely underestimated the personal toll it would have on me.

I admit I am dazzled by your powers of underlining, but I’ll ask basically the same question again - where did this troll attack our rights, consistution and/or republic?

They personally attack posters that espouse the conservative view.

I will not respond to you again.

Yes homosexuality misses the mark. (That’s the very definition of sin.) It is a sin of sexual immorality. God didn’t design the human body for homosexuality. The parts do not complement each other. It’s fairly pedantic. Homosexuality begins with thinking and over time might even develop physical disorders similar to how an alcoholic might develop a physical factor promoting that behavior.

God has provided a solution. It’s a human decision whether to accept that solution, or to ignore it, and later even degenerate into attacking God and His Plan for providing it from arrogance and hatred of anything He provides.

Homosexuality is one of the most bigoted behaviors and thinking processes imaginable. Worse, it promotes and degenerates the practitioner’s thinking socially towards a life of corrupt thinking. Entertaining and not rejecting the temptation necessarily implies the homosexual is arrogantly placing their thinking above any other external check and balance. It is inherently illicit, degenerating the homosexual’s modus operendi into favoring subterfuge and accepting any illegal action from their hearts and patiently working to overturn laws and social standards to gain power in performing any lustful behavior or thinking.

Acceptance of homosexuality is also an affront to those who seek righteous thinking and behavior. Most obviously it’s also rude, crude and illicit.

And I have recognized for some time that anyone who doesn’t participate in perfect group-think with the Neanderthals on this forum are labeled “trolls” in an effort to marginize them.

It takes a certain amount of intellect to process opinions different than our own and to, if not accept the idea, at least accept and respect the other person’s right to have it. You either have that intellect or you don’t.

“Your view does not mirror the conservative view of homosexuality nor does it reflect the view of this site.”

Actually, my view is exactly that of a conservative. Conservatives believe in keeping the government and everyone else out of person’s private business. As for this site, if it is truly open to intelligent debate, then it IS open to differing views. Otherwise, rename it MSNBC.com

“At the founding of this country, the penalty for homosexuality was death in Virginia. Thomas Jefferson tried to change that to castration. Virginia kept the death penalty. All states had laws against sodomy. It has never been an accepted practice except in socially declining countries. You might want to check some history before throwing in your lot with sodomites.”

That paragraph pretty much speaks for its own stunted, intellectual light weight. But history tells me most Islamic nations still carry all those same views and penalties. So I guess that makes you a closet Muslim?

Your first post on this thread, Post 138, was meant to insult, not debate. You demand everyone think as you do.

This is a conservative forum that does not support the homosexual agenda. The moral fabric of this country is being torn apart by groups wanting special rights. Homosexuals want special rights based solely on their aberrant behavior. Conservatives will fight any such action.

Conservatives believe in keeping the government and everyone else out of person’s private business.

This is an activist site. We watch what's going on and push for conservative values. When this cadet announced what she does in her bedroom, SHE made it public, we did not.

As for this site, if it is truly open to intelligent debate, then it IS open to differing views.

Again, this is an activist site and not a debating forum. Please see JimRobs remarks in repost 239.

That paragraph pretty much speaks for its own stunted, intellectual light weight.

How wonderful for you that you believe you are intellectually above the Founders of our country.

But history tells me most Islamic nations still carry all those same views and penalties. So I guess that makes you a closet Muslim?

Stupid, petty statement. The last resort of someone who has nothing to debate with.

I will not respond to you again.

Been watching this, and I gotta say...
I'm surprised you two weren't whining about the treatment the poster got on this thread.
How about you prove that homosexuality is wholesome and good.. say, would you like your children to see this?
After all, it's a conservative value, you have pretty much said so.

And no, it is NOT open to debate.
The FR mission statement says as much!
Fourth paragraph down, second sentence for the BLIND.
Homosexuality is a disgusting lifestyle CHOICE that has no place in a society that is supposedly enlightened.
Enlightened people do not do what you will in fact see if you look at the pics taken from the Folsom Street Fair.

Maybe she just wanted to switch majors.

With Obummer fast tracking gays openly serving in the military she wouldn't have to wait long to out herself. I still think there's more to this story. Does she think that the left isn't going to get it's way on this one? Or maybe she realizes that even if she can serve openly as a lesbian the military will never become a celebration of perversion. She probably finally realized that if all of her dreams came true and just because she yelled "hey look at me" that nobody has to.

Thank you, honestly, for talking to me directly and not pestering the powers-that-be. I'm no more in favor of taking my kids to a gay parade than I would be to have them visit a parade celebrating all who enjoy doggy style. I am against gay people getting special treatment as much as I think it's ludicrous to pass laws to facilitate those who prefer missionary style. I've never said, nor ever will, that politicizing the gay agenda is a good idea. My sin here appears to be I'm not condemning every last gay person who sashayed the earth as some sort of demon in vaguely human form.

“My sin here appears to be I’m not condemning every last gay person who sashayed the earth as some sort of demon in vaguely human form. “

No, your sin is that you appear to be excusing, being an apologist for, and aiding the “social normalization” of the behavior as seen at the Folsom Street Fair.
That behavior, surprise surprise, is quite normal for the community with the predilection for falsely calling themselves “gay”.
It is not and never will be a conservative merit or virtue to excuse that behavior.
It would be best if people figured that out.
It would also be best if people actually read the mission statement of this site and what it stands for as that is non-negotiable.
