Rauf wants the controversy because when he wins, and he will, it will be an even bigger, more famous prize, thanks to the controversy.
I’m a pretty calm and quiet guy. It takes a lot to get me to rise up and be counted. Not saying that I don’t support the many TEa Party protests. I do. I don’t attend them, but you can count on me to vote conservative in November.
On the other hand, I swear...here. If these people are given the go ahead to build a mosque at that site or any other site in view of where the twin towers stood, I will be there on that first day, when there are photo ops for their first shovel of dirt, probably along with millions of other Americans.
I will go to jail, protesting this travesty if it ever comes to that.
The people of this country will NEVER allow that mosque to be built there. Never. There is not one trade union in New York that will work on it.
It will never happen.
But it was good to see the true colors of people like Bloomberg and every other politician who has spoken in support of this.
