PHOENIX (AP) - Both were once considered vulnerable but recently have found stronger footing in their Republican primary races.
Now, Arizona Sen. John McCain and Gov. Jan Brewer will campaign together at six events in five communities on Friday and Saturday.

Disgusting! But . . . LMAO! Thanks!
It’s amazing that you were able to post as a troll at Free Republic for all these years.
Kudos
I’m one of those crazy stealth trolls. Wait for it, WAIT FOR IT, then WHAM!
Again, I happen to like Arizona SB 1070. I'm not willing to piss it away because of some constantly-evolving standard.
Guess we are gonna have to do this ONE MORE TIME
All you proved is that you are a liar.

Reagan was a globalist, by your own standard(s). How do you explain your selectivity?

This has to be one of the most ignorant, insipid and outright stupid statements I have ever read at Free Republic. You must have an argument. Produce it, at once!!

The WTO: Came into being in 1995 LINK
The Canda Free Trade Agreement: Signed on October 4th, 1988 LINK

Okay, there you have it. One of these five agreements was negotiated and signed by Reagan. The others all formalized years after he left office.
The Uraguay Round was the culmination of efforts started in 1986. By the eighth round, the Uraguay Round, the General Agreement on Tarrifs and Trade (GATT) was formally turned into the World Trade Organization (the WTO). Did Reagan envision this effort becoming what it did? Perhaps so. Perhaps not.
I agree with nation to nation agreements. For instance the Canada Free Trade agreement involved direct talks between two nations. No governing body had to be set up to administer the agreeement.
When you start going the route of NAFTA and the WTO, multi-naiton governing bodies are a must. And thats where I draw the line. These governing bodies can and do cause nations to lose control of their own decision making processes. These multi-national organizations sooner or later make demands on individual nations, the United States being one. So instead of us being a sovereign nation that makes its own decisions regarding not only trade, but employee pay, benefits, and other intricate matters, these matters become the perview of the trade organizations. Any member nation can file a formal complain, stating unfair advantage, and cause other nations to have to modify their internal regulations. In some cases this means having to strike down commerce clauses that have been in effect for decades, perhaps as much as 100 years. Would we otherwise do that? No. Were only doing it because we are forced to by these trade organizatons. We comply or face sanctions.
Was Reagan a globalist? From the above list of agreements, theres no proof of it.
Each of these entities became reality as much as five years after he left office.
Nice try Goober.

I recommend THC laden butter for the popcorn :)
There are enough RINOS on this thread to choke a horse ;-)
LOL!!
Ahh, I think you're on to something...
"But it was signed later!" Dur.
Maybe you can explain how Reagan's instrumental contribution to the formation of the WTO was a blow struck against the WTO. That one I'd like to see (and try to see if you can respond yourself without calling-in assistance).
My Freudian spell checker flagged your post. BTW, me too...
Not likely rab. I had to laugh today when FOX was talking about some incumbant who spent an exhorbitant amount of money to get re-elected.....$6 million. LOL, JD would be lucky if that’s all McCain would have spent. McCain spent his leftover Presidential campaign war chest. But then, he wasn’t at war with Obama, he is at war with JD.
Exactly what truth is that, rintense?
If I were to guess, it's probably a reference to the following:

Simple fact is, Jan's luckiest day was the day they sent her SB1070.
I suppose this makes Jan Brewer a Marxist/communist Benedict Arnold huh?
“My Freudian spell checker flagged your post. ...”
LOL!
I'd like to state the truth as I see it having followed all this from the git-go.
First, Brewer is not a Conservative and has been at odds with our AZ Conservative-led Legislature since she was moved up into Napolitano's Gov. seat.
She, along with Kyl endorsed McCain right out of the chute. Why, because Jan is on the same wave-length as McCain. Her campaign was faltering badly and the majority of we Conservatives here in AZ were going full-out for Dean Martin, who not only is very strong on the illegal alien issue but is heads and then some above Brewer in the fiscal area.
Then along came SB1070 and Brewer saw her "golden egg" and signed the Bill knowing that 70% of Arizonans were much in favor of it. Once it gained national attention, Brewer had no choice except to go out gung-ho on pushing to get our border secured.
THIS put us in a dilemma....do we continue to stick with the wonderful Conservative or go with the issue that is at the top of many of our lists. Should Brewer lose after signing SB1070 and it being the talk of the Country, can anyone tell me that Obama and the Leftists wouldn't use her loss as an out regarding the illegal alien and border security?
They would be talking 24/7 on the MSM saying her loss was due to her hard stance on the border/illegal issue.
Dean Martin saw this the same way and bowed out of the race. He did it to save many of us the torture of tearing our hair out trying to decide what to do. Make no mistake, we Conservatives wanted Martin VERY much so, but Brewer saw her chance and jumped in for the brass ring.
She has none of us fooled and we know exactly what Jan is, has been and will be. She is no different than her friend McCain in that they both knew they had to take command of the illegal alien/border issue and they have. It's really that simple.
The one difference is that Brewer will be stuck here as Gov. in AZ where we citizens will hold her feet to the fire if she lets up on securing our border and I don't expect her to do so.
The reason being that her friend, John McCain, will be re-elected and he will go flying off to DC never to be seen in AZ again, where he will join his good buddy Lindsey and they will both be making a beeline to meet with Obama to plot out their plan. That will be when we hear from McCain that Obama has made great strides in securing our border (which will of course be the same old lie) and with that accomplished he will be sitting down in a bi-partisan meeting of the minds to work out a "reasonable" immigration reform Bill.
Brewer will give a sigh of relief for her friend McCain coming to her aid so that she can put the illegal/border issue to rest.
No doubt AZ citizens will come unglued because the whole problem will still be ours to live with, but we'll not have any recourse since the voters bought into the McCain "campaign" conservative lies. And I truly do not believe Brewer feels much different than McCain and will stick with the program till McCain bails her out.
I do not think Brewer had any idea of how this issue was going to baloon all over the Country and lucky for us here in AZ it has because it does keep her nose to the grindstone on getting our border secured...what kind of shoddy "security" she will end up accepting is unknown.
The "kiddie" fence we now have in spots is worthless and it's just money flushed down the toilet. Until someone gets serious and erects an Israeli type fence with BP outposts built in at intervals for true border security our southern border will remain wide open.
And this is how I see it all from my vantage point watching it all unfold. Not a pretty sight! Many, many AZ voters are just as naive and uninformed as those we see everywhere around our Country these years.
And we will have Independents voting in our Republican Primary so that doubles our wondering as to the outcome. If we only had Conservatives and moderate Republicans voting I would feel much more confident in the ouster of John McCain as I think we out-number the moderates here in AZ.
Right or wrong this is my two cents worth.....I never was a woman of few words...sigh...this is why I stay away from posting on the main board. I do apoligize for being long-winded!
BINGO
He is a sitting Senator and she can’t afford to openly diss him if he asks her.
Jan,
You made a big mistake.
What did he promise you?
