Ah, Ann. I laughed, I cried — I really cried at the last sentence.

And let's give it up for that fearless, ever-vigilant media:

The one newspaper to cough up party affiliations, The Orange County Register, admitted that the corrupt officials were all Democrats only in response to reader complaints about the peculiar omission.

Lots of news stories on the scandal in Bell used the word "Democrat" or "Democratic." But that was only to say that the DEMOCRATIC attorney general of California, Jerry Brown, who is running on the DEMOCRATIC ticket for governor, is investigating the Bell officials' salaries.

So we know the media are aware of party affiliations. They just chose not to mention it when it would require them to identify shockingly corrupt government officials as Democrats

Every citizen in this country (sorry, "consumer of gov services") should read Howie Carr every day, as he details exactly who gets the pension "kiss in the mail," as he calls the outrageous swag the political/and often criminal class of Massachusetts gets after a few years of 'service!' Six-figure pension? No Problemo! In jail? It will be waiting!

Howie of course, writes about Massachusetts, but the Bay Colony is probably not the absolute worst, and each of the other 56 states has the exact same problem. Howie dishes the dirt every day on who's getting Huge salaries, the rampant nepotism that includes entire families down to third cousins, HUGE (50-60 Grand MINIMUM ... $200 Thousand ++++ MAX) pensions, and the astronomical and always increasing numbers of people on the government payroll at the local and state level.

Of course, Massachusetts has been under total Democrat control for decades.

I knew a young man - a boy really - who, in his twenties, no education or training whatsoever, was given a real hackorama flashdance to the top of the DSS in Boston. 80 Grand and it was part time at best. If I hadn’t known the guy and his family PERSONALLY I wouldn’t have believed Howie’s story about him when he broke it. It’s what the press is SUPPOSED to be doing.

[Matt Amerillo] still feeds at the trough, though, surely?

Mug shot from recent DUI arrest. No, he's not dead. Too young for a pension, too drunk to employ. He hasn't worked a day since Mitt forced him to resign as big dig boss.
