Newt is a Georgian. Palin was the first outsider to endorse a candidate in the GOP primary -- and chose the least conservative one. Then Romney joined her in support of Handel. Huckabee came in at the last minute to counter Handel's smear of Nathan Deal -- which was based solely upon a report by the Soros-funded "Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington" (CREW).

I agree with Jack Kingston, a solid Conservative who initially supported Eric Johnson in the GOP gubernatorial primary. Outsiders should stay out of primaries just like wise people stay out of other people's family squabbles, and then support their party's nominees. Otherwise, they are just going to alienate a significant number of people whose support may soon prove valuable.
