He was desperate, ,the GOP knew McCain was a fall guy , and McCain sought out someone who had the people in the palm of her hand, like she still does. McCain owes her a door into the party hierarchy, and Sarah's trying to collect. I don't think John is going to honor his side of the bargain, and so , just wait to see what happens. Which way do YOU think it will go? Will McCain be successful in traducing Palin?

I bet not.

McCain was not a weak candidate. He wasn’t a real strong candidate either; he was solid but unexciting to most voters. But you’re forgetting what happened, all too conveniently for Obama (Soros, want to shed some light on this?), in September of 2008: Lehman Brothers went bankrupt and threw our financial system into great turmoil. The MSM jumped on this news (I remember it well) and played it up into The End of The US Economy Caused Entirely by Bush. It was classic fear-mongering by MSM punks throughout America, including all the local news stations.

Without the bankruptcy of a massive financial institution and the resulting chaos in the stock market, I think McCain would have won by about 1% in a very close electoral vote. As far as Obama’s legitimacy as president, I don’t know where he was born for sure and neither does anyone else, because these government officials in Hawaii have apparently sealed all his birth records. They make statements that he was born in Hawaii but then they don’t produce the physical documents to back up those statements. So who knows what the truth is.

I’ll say this for sure. Obama’s policies will be disastrous for America if we don’t at least win back control of the House this year, and then defeat him in 2012. We have to find somebody in the GOP who can beat him. Maybe that person is Sarah and maybe it’s somebody else. Based on a few things I’ve read on other blog sites, it sounds like a lot of people don’t know much about her positions on the issues. People tend to be focused on her appearance and her speaking style and also focused on McCain’s age. That’s why she has to increase her knowledge of all the issues and speak like a real foreign policy guru.

I have read her autobiography, it fills in a lot the press ignored or did not cover. I also researched her background. Sarah Palin is brilliant, truely so. She doesn't talk on the issues like she is an expert because that is her peersonal style not to be something she is not, but she knows the issues, and knows how to get things accomplished. She is highly regarded in Japan, China and SOuth Korea for example, for working out home porting for the international fishing industry. These things are unknown, because they have not been reported. She is also experienced in military affairs in her work with the ANG,and as commander in Chief of Americas first line of Defence.

Her resignation as Governor of Alaska was brilliant, and it left Obama and his assassins with an empty bag, they still are vexed. This is a woman who is a master of strategy. Thats why she will become president, I have no doubt about it.

The only people who can make it harder are in the GOP, and the excuses they have for keeping her out are empty, they are simply afraid she will change US politics to which they are accustomed. They are right about that. She intends to reconnect the party with the people. Right now it is completely and untterly disconnected from the people, and GOP personal elitist goals are in substitution. Sarah will change that. Thats the real issue, it is not really about how she looks, how she sounds or whether her children are appealing, or whether she attended an ivy league school.

Virtually all the issues you raise are the same old GOP straw issues.Lets get to the real issue. Either the GOP uses Sarah to reconnect to America, or it will be a dead party. Reconnecting does not mean becoming progressive, it means doing what the American people want, and representing the people on he issues of Health Care, Illegal Aliens,National Energy Policy, taxation, small business and the war against Islamofascism. The GOP has done enough lining of the pockets of its political dependents. It is now the time for the people to be those represented in government.Everyone knows Sarah can and will make that happen, just like she did in Alaska.Thats a major problem for the GOP.They need to get over it.

UPDATE: the candidate who had wished for Sarah to be on the plane with Stevens has issued the following statement:

"After consulting with the secretary of state's office, I am withdrawing as an active candidate for the New Hampshire House," Halloran said in a written statement. "I urge registered voters to consider supporting and voting for the truly progressive candidates on the ballot on Sept. 14 and Nov. 2. Live Free and Move Forward."

Note that this jack*ss sounded like he was a 'progressive democrat'...perhaps Beck would be interested in that little tidbit. Interesting that he uses the phrase "Live Free and Move Forward"...progressives have been using a similar phrase in Vermont for a number of years...when true Vermonters got fed up with Sanders and his ilk; signs calling for people to 'Take Vermont Back' began appearing on rural structures; such as barns and silos. Progressives responded with a 'Take Vermont Forward' campaign...now NH progressives are using a similar slogan. Wonder if they are doing that elsewhere?

Oh yeah, "progessive democrat", but aren't they all? I mean, the obamacare vote proved there's no such thing as a moderate democrat. Even in the House, the votes were rigged to allow just enough rats to vote no, with Stupek taking the fall in what he thought was his safe district. Well, he's gone!

I am so glad this snake has dropped out so that he can't be the new hero of the communist Sarah haters.

So much for the Lame Stream ignoring the story.

Thanks, onyx...one of those ‘progressive’ candidates Halloran embraces is Congressional candidate Anne Custer; who is quite a bit to the LEFT of Nancy Pelosi...Pelosi is Barry Goldwater next to this moonbat. Progressives are bad news for America.

Good news, onyx.

I find it interesting that the New Hampshire GOP has stepped up to vigorously pursue this. Hooray for the Granite State.

If the Alaska GOP had stepped up for Sarah while she was under assault, she might still be governor there. 'Course the good ol' boys were still nursing their wounds there and so they just stood by and watched.

who knows what evil? has kept us updated! I was so happy to received that news. That slimebag must have been told to drop out...lol. I don’t know if the NH SoS is a Republican or not, but the officeholder made the correct decision or gave the correct advice.

You’re right, (as always) Alaska absolutely let Sarah down, but it’s paid off for her and she made the only decision she could. Lemonade out lemons comes to mind.

She’s doing her best to get rid of the good ole boy’s network and having some good success. Sarah to the top, you betcha!

Primary is September 14, so it is TBD. On the GOP side; there is a wonderful candidate by the name of Jennifer Horn, but she is probably a little too conservative for NH; especially that district; which borders Vermont, and is currently represented by the communist Paul Hodes. He is trying to win a seat in the Senate, but all three of the GOP candidates for Senate lead him in the polls. The GOP candidate opposing the winner of Kuster/Swett (she’s to the left of Pelosi, as well...)will probably be re-tread Charles Bass. I’d rather see Horn, but that district is home to Dartmouth/Hanover/Lebanon; the Berkeley of New Hampshire. Kuster COULD make it to Congress.

I wouldn’t suggest that she change her appearance, but she can change the way she speaks and improve her knowledge of all the issues

I doubt she will be changing anything. It’s your knowledge of her positions on issues that may need changing. You will not hear her positions on any issues in the media. They will discuss her hair, her dress, the idiot Levi, the phenomenon that is Sarah Palin, but they never talk about what she says.

Health care - who was first to challenge Obamacare’s boards and panels deciding who will get care? Before Sarah called them death panels, I don’t remember anyone talking about the real prospect that people will be denied care because they are too old, or too sick, or maybe because the boards are politically appointed, too conservative.

The mosque - The mosque near Ground Zero had minimal opposition until Sarah Palin posted about it. Now NYC opposition is strong and well over 50%.

Gulf Oil Spill - Gov. Palin encouraged Gov. Jindal to take action to protect his state even if in violation of federal orders. Had he done so earlier, much damage may have been prevented in coastal areas.

Immigration - Gov. Palin stood with Gov. Brewer when other potential candidates were no where to be found.

If you want to catch up on her positions without buying “Going Rogue”, www.facebook.com/sarahpalin is where she has been giving her positions on current topics.

She is uniquely suited to defeat Obama because she is the only Republican consistently calling him out and the only one who is not fearful of losing their membership in the ruling class by challenging him.

“The New Hampshire Republican State Committee today denounced Democrat NH House candidate Keith Halloran’s public death wish for former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.”

But would they have denounced it if it were a private death wish statement? How many Dems have said the same thing in private ?

If someone steps on your toe in line at the grocery store, you look them over and normally, that person would say "excuse me" and you forgive them. You don't haul off and slug them in the jaw!"

Seems a poor analogy. The implication is that the offense is either careless, accidental, or simply petulant. This is none of those.

This is pure hate, and a sincere wish for another person's death. The pretense of an apology is extremely offensive. He knows, we know, and he knows we know that he meant what he said. A request for an apology implies potential for regret and subsequent forgiveness. There is no regret here, and he is not deserving of forgiveness.

It's that simple.

Personally, I'd have punched the turd if he had been standing next to me when he said it.
