EAST POINT, Ga. - Video showed chaos unfolding in the city of East Point on Wednesday morning as hundreds of people waited for their chance to get federal housing assistance. Aerials from above the East Point Housing Authority showed a large group of people congregating around police cars and causing a scene as several people handed out applications.
Mobs of people surrounded police cars, and FOX 5 has learned workers were handing out applications to the crowd, but they would only do so with police presence. Those in the crowd would receive an application, then fill it out and wait in lines to turn them in. ...

“When the government goes broke, these same people will be rioting in every urban area across the USA.”
If we have an economic shock or major reduction in government transfer payments, major unrest will occur. I am not sure if the unrest will be rioting, looting, or general lawlessness. Democrats will foment anger at conservatives to gain political advantage from widespread unrest. I agree that ownership of firearms will be essential.
Meanwhile on Aug 10 in 2,860 GA precincts there was a2,487 vote difference; lss than 1 vote per precinct.
Control is decided by whomever has the ground game and can get that extra vote per precinct to the polling place.
Guaranteed Obama will get his voters to the Polling place.
How about our side? Or have we thrown up the white flag and resigned ourselves that retreat into our bunkers is the only alternative? Or will we say REMEMBER NOVEMBER ?
“Democrats will foment anger at conservatives to gain political advantage from widespread unrest.”
Yes....but it will be directed at capitalism and anyone who voted GOP.
They will use the media as their bullhorn and really fan the flames.
I have a friend who buys every crappy house he can get his hands on. He makes them barely habitable and rents them out to section 8.
He says the Government pays the greater part of the rent and he doesnt care if the inhabitants pay or not , he makes enough off the government to make the payments on the properties which will be his after the government has paid for them. If the renters pay anything at all that is gravy.
This used to be a nation where people wanted to get away from government.
Just no words to express my boiling frustration at these rats for making us into a basket-case.
No doubt. I am about fed up with all the “co-president” attitudes.
The rats have done an excellent job already. They have initiated war against capitalism and then denied that war was declared.
The ‘Oboomba gonna pay my mortgage from his stash’ crowd.
AIDS manual on computer desk. Nice.
“
These are the people who thought Obama was going to pay for their car,
their house, their gas, their groceries and their utilities.
“
I suspect that most of the threats on the President investigated by
the Secret Service.....
are made by disgruntled folks that voted for him
Of course, in the hopes he’d usher them into a rent-free, free-money paradise.

My first job out of college was to rehab slum housing for Doctors and Lawyers. The gig then was the accelerated depreciation used to shield income. The Doctors and Lawyers were in the >50% tax bracket and would depreciate the slums in 7 years shielding a meaningful portion of their income from taxes. After seven years they would sell the properties to one another and start the whole cycle over. I came in on the swap to make the places marginally habitable. The funny thing was I had to be out of those neighborhoods before dark and I never let any of my tools out of my sight. These properties could have been bought by the residents but they prefered to just live their. The only articles of wealth to the tenants were a Cadillac and a color TV. All other forms of property were seen as meaningless. Learned a lot doing that.
Even worse, this is not for actual housing but section 8 which will then place them in what used to be nice neighborhoods where property values will then decline inversely to the crime rate.
They did to us in one of the more affluent areas of Atlanta when sections of our county dared to form cities to escape their taxation without services.
I believe these are federal vouchers and such these Alantians can thus move out to a nice, light, suburb.
I remember a study overlapping Section 8 voucher growth and crime. Same Same.
Exactly why we just bought a farm out in the country. I refuse to sit around hoping that the entitlement animals will behave.
