Wasn't Ras’s 0bozo Index at only -10 just a few days ago?
Why on earth are his polls so volatile these days? Never used to be like that before.

rolling 3-day samples are quite variable, and the "number" is the difference of 2 other numbers so that a swing of 1 person in 100 moves the number by 2.

Also, note that a history of very small swings was one of the tell-tale signs that Kos's pollster was just making up his results.

If you look at a longer-range average of 10-20 days, the picture is much more stable because the sample is much larger. Basically, O has been bumpong along around -16 or so for several months, wihtout much long-term trend.

I think that his quick fall in the numbers is being fueled by two contributing groups...the common sense folks who, after seeing last Friday's unemployment numbers, realize that we are not coming out of this financial problem and that the Stimulus package is turning out to be a colossal waste of nearly $1 trillion. The second source of the fall in the numbers is actually coming from his far left base who are saying he has failed to deliver on many of his campaign promises, or watered them down to get them passed.
