I drive, typically. And every morning I pass by at least half a dozen cops on highway ticket revenue patrols for minor traffic offenses, though doing nothing that really contributes to the public safety. And from time to time they actually create a safety hazard themselves by parking in the middle of a busy lane of traffic while they write their tickets.
