Krauthammer was suggesting that Obama is so arrogant he may think his best chance for reelection would be for the Dems to lose either the House or the Senate this fall.

Food for thought. If there is truth to this is he so power hungry that he would be willing to throw Dems facing reelection to the wolves just so he can get a second term?

“. . . he would be willing to throw Dems facing reelection to the wolves just so he can get a second term?”

It’s a good strategy for the left. They have won the structural battle in so many ways in the past two years. It’s not clear to me that the US will ever recover from it—the death spiral is now institutionalized and fully funded by Congress.

But if he holds on and gets reelected (1) He vetoes everything congress does to reverse the damage of the past two years; and (2) He gets to appoint one or two new supreme court justices. At that point, the supreme court would have a five vote majority that is much more radical than any US court in history (3) He gets to continue to ignore enforcement of our open borders and another half a generation of socialist anchor babies are born to elect zero’s totalitarian successors.

By the end of that six years, the changes are irreversible without violent revolution—too many citizens have been converted to welfare dependents and too many businesses now make money at the newly structured and expanded government trough. Both groups will fight any changes with much money and time. At that point, America is a free country in name only.

Frankly, we need to inflict humiliating defeats on zero and his socialist fellow travelers in 2010 AND in 2012. Otherwise, it’s game over.

Then we have to fight to make the Republicans do what they promised.
