I think anybody contributing to that donation page is being had. In my opinion, this whole thing was a staged publicity stunt for this guy to get some attention and his "fifteen minutes of fame."

Mark my words, when all is said and done, this Steven Slater will have made six figures telling his story to all the tabloids and talk shows and whatnot. Who knows, he might even have his own TV sitcom. Sure, he'll probably have to pay a hefty fine and do some community service but in the end, he'll be able to make a decent living with his notoriety and will be laughing all the way to the bank.
