Recently, veterans supporting Chris Gibsons candidacy announced the formation of the Veterans for Gibson Coalition.
Gibson recently retired from the military after serving for 24 years. He rose to the rank of Colonel and was deployed seven times, which included four tours to Iraq.
The men and women that have served, or still serve, our nation hold a special place in my heart. Their support for my candidacy has been overwhelming and I want them to know that I will always be there for them. It is thanks to them that we live in a country that is free, prosperous and safe. It is an honor to stand with them again, this time in a campaign to restore fiscal sanity to our government and to create jobs so that our soldiers can more easily reintegrate into civilian life, Gibson said.
The coalition, led by Korean War veteran, father of four and long time veterans rights advocate Sgt. Jim Haggerty (USMC ret.), plans to organize rallies and meetings across the 20th district to allow veterans to voice their concerns directly to Gibson

He IS the real deal. I went to a fundraiser for him a little while back. VEry impressive. He’ll be at West Mountain in Glens Falls for another fundraiser this Saturday in case you’re interested.

I am usually too busy to help out (volunteering) in the races but this year I think the situation demands it.
