Hillary for Vice President? The movement is gaining traction.

As President Obama sinks in the polls, Democrats and liberal pundits inevitably are searching for a scapegoat. The most likely victim appears to be gaffe-prone Vice President Joe Biden, who has become the focus of speculation that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton just might replace him on the 2012 Democratic ticket.

Former Virginia Gov. Doug Wilder, his state's first African-American governor, touched off the controversy. Writing at Politico.com last week, Mr. Wilder argued that Mr. Biden's tenure has been undistinguished and chock full of "too many YouTube moments." He charged that Mr. Biden "has continued to undermine what little confidence the public may have had in him."

It will be an interesting choice.

If she accepts the 2nd chair, and they win, she gets back into DC and becomes THE presidential candidate for the Dems in 2016. If she plays team ball to get Zero re-elected, everyone lines up behind her later.

If she declines, and losses, Obama and the Dem machine turn against her and 2016 becomes a much more difficult situation.

I hope she goes for it...and takes Obama down hard in the process. Of course we still need someone to run against them and I’ve never seen such a pathetic bunch of middle-of-the-road, spinless RINOs.

Please, prove me wrong and name an electable conservative that has the stones to fight these Socialists. I like Sarah, but electable?

Doug Wilder would be a better choice than Hillary--he has executive experience, he's not abrasive, and he's even a veteran (Korean War). He'll be 81 in 2012 but he wouldn't be the oldest Democratic VP nominee (Henry Davis in 1904 was older). He would balance the ticket as a Southerner and as a black man who doesn't hate America.

“LOL LOL

Yes, she is soooo popular~”

Actually, I read early this summer that she’s only the most popular politician in the USA.

But nothing could make me vote for Obama.

If she had anything on him she would have used it when she was whining he used ACORN and stole the election from her...

UNLESS the DNC hushed her because he WAS the rock star back when.

“A whole lot of people abandoned her camp to go with the golden boy during late spring 08.”

Actually her delegates were committed, her staff was committed...however there was talk that one of her aides was a plant for Obama.

There’s no love between Obama and Hillary...anything you think you see is smoke and mirrors.

Speculated candidates

The following are individuals who are or have been the subject of speculation in prominent media sources as being possible presidential contenders in the 2012 election. The speculation may stem from noted media analysts and commentators, or from actions or comments made by the individuals themselves — which suggest the possibility of a presidential run — as reported in reliable media sources.
[edit] Democratic

* President Barack Obama is eligible for a second term. Since 1972, every incumbent President eligible for re-election has been nominated by his party. The most recent case of an incumbent president declining to seek reelection was in 1968, when Lyndon B. Johnson decided not to seek a second full term. The most recent credible primary challenge to a sitting Democratic President came from Senator Edward Kennedy against President Jimmy Carter during the 1980 United States Presidential Election.

There is speculation that Obama may run with a different Vice-Presidential nominee in 2012. Former Democratic Virginia Governor L. Douglas Wilder suggested in August 2010 that Obama replace Joe Biden with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on the 2012 ticket. [16]

If Hillary runs as Bozo’s VP and he looses, her chances of ever winning a presidential run is toast.
Why on earth would she want to tie her name to a lying criminal? That is a stain she would never be able to remove. On second thought, that may not be a bad move. We can get two birds with one stone!!!!

In an Obama/Hillary administration I would not want the job of Obama’s food tester. It would be like being the number 3 guy in Al Queada...

The people that would vote for Hillary can’t see past their noses. There is nothing good about her or Obama. They are parasites.

If she does go campaigning bet it will be with a select audience - wouldn’t want her to have to deal with questions from the common folk asking what she brought them back from Spain would we?

Hillary's problem is that her own tenure has been remarkably unremarkable. In fact, she's is barely being eclipsed by Cy Vance as the worst Secretary of State in the last 50 years, barely.

Ain’t gonna happen. Biden won’t quit and Clinton won’t tie herself any closer to this administration train wreck.
