You don't have to agree with the NRA 100%, but they are not an enemy to freedom loving Americans.
If Martin Luther King had gone around the southern states in the 60's telling blacks to get to the back of the bus because that is the law, he would have don the civil rights movement a grave injustice. In fact, he would have set it back because he would have legitimized laws which were both immoral and Unconstitutional.
Yet that is precisely what the NRA is doing in states like CA, where they teach classes and teach the state laws which are patently Unconstitutional. If the NRA does not pull out of the state or at the very least, refuse to teach students laws which are blatantly Unconstitutional, they are actually harming the 2A movement.

I think there is a difference between educating people about state law and endorsing the law. The NRA website is a great reference for state firearms laws.
The more educated people are on gun laws, the more they will see how crazy and nonsensical some of those laws are, particularly in Cali. There’s always a chance to get them repealed if the people push hard enough.
Now when it comes to civil disobedience against unjust laws, I wouldn’t expect a huge organization to take the lead. That decision is up to each individual to make for themselves.
