As previously stated, the voters in Minnesota did not elect FranKlown! Secretary of State, Mark Ritchie, did by choosing which ballots to count.

Truth told, the Seventeenth Amendment provided Minnesota with a choice of two New York Jews (no racial/ethnic slur - just a fact) as choices for Senator. Coleman was an incumbent with money from D.C. and FranKlown was funded from New York and California.

Yep, the voters were complete idiots—and frankly, I think either Hilton or Gibson would do a marginally better job than Al Franken.

They didn't vote for him. Norm Coleman won the election, but the votes were recounted several times until enough Franken votes were "found" to put him over the top. It's exactly the same way Al Gore tried to steal the presidential election in 2000, and Christine Gregoire (I think) stole the WA governatorial election. It is unfortunate that the left is so brazen about election stealing these days; in any sane world, they'd be afraid of the consequences.
