Oklahoma City made the list because of our obesity index. Granted, we have more fat people than we should. But I have yet to hear that it is contagious or that people are forced into obesity because of organized crime. So, give me a break, other people’s being fat is no reason to black ball a city.
We have low unemployment, low cost of living, low foreclosure rate, housing prices have not declined to much extent. People are friendly and our crime rate is low. But too many fat people is worse than Chicago’s double digit weekly murder rate.
I’d sure pick OKC over most of the others on that list to live in. (No offense, I’d rather not live there, I like the Southeast, but OKC seems like a good town from everything I’ve read elsewhere.)
I wonder why it supposedly has such a problem with obesity. Lots of good food? Too hot/cold to exercise?

Used to live in Shawnee and went to OKC often. Lovely city, lovely people, lovely state! I loved it so much that I now live just a few minutes from the OK state border in Fort Smith.
Okay, I didn’t move here because it’s close to Oklahoma, but it’s a bonus!
Amen brother. But if it can keep the dang California libs from moving in and screwing our town up then the rating is worth it. I don’t care what some organization calls me, just so long as it leaves me alone.
