I’m told by a trader that world wide, grain silos have been emptied.

Russia has had another disaster in agriculture this summer, with unseasonably warm temperatures and drought. Moscow is currently under a smothering blanket of smog from raging wildfires.

Last week, the Russians announced they were stopping all wheat exports. India has been rumored to be already hoarding grain in anticipation of supply problems --- they were hit hard a few years ago when a similar situation developed.
