We need an executive in the WH.
Bachmann is perfect where she is. She's a fierce debater, good on policy, is ethical, and can push a conservative agenda through Congress better than if she was President. If the GOP wins back the House, she should be Speaker or House Majority Leader.

There is only one example of a senator beating a governor in a run for the White House, and there is no example of a senator defeating a sitting president in a run for the WH. There is also only one example of a Congressman winning the WH - and that was 150 years ago, and he didn't win a majority of the popular vote.If we could have managed to nominate a governor last time, chances would have been much better that we wouldn't be in this pickle.
