This strategy may make sense from the standpoint of trying to keep their base on board but it won’t help much with independents who are going to decide all the races that matter.
They know they've already lost the middle, and by a LOT.
They're just trying to fire up the base and PROTECT NORMALLY Democratic districts.
They are now playing DEFENSE ON THEIR HOME TURF.
With their back against the wall, they will get very, very nasty.
