A lot of my FRiends have asked me for my opinion on the judicial races... I have spoken with each of the candidates and have tried to get them to explain thier “judicial philosophy” and it is like pulling teeth to get a straight answer. I am not asking them to tell me how they would rule in any particular case but their approach to the law IS relevent. If anyone has any input to this I am all ears.

I will post an UPDATED Sample Ballot as I finalize my decision in the races I have marked “TBD”.

I am hosting a GOOOH mock selection in Tallahassee on 21 August 2010 so I will withhold my choice in the U.S. House Race until after that event.

Not Libertarian much? I’m putting ozzie on my tone deaf complainer list if Crist wins it. But then again I’m sure he will put me on his list because I will be on it too for the obvious contrary POV. :)

On the judicial ballots, unless I know otherwise, I just assume they are all part of the same clique and it is their turn and vote NO. If there is an isntance of one running against another, I will do my due dillegence and search the public records for a clue.

My opinion is to keep the revolving door running at full speed and the ones who have a clue will figure out how to stay in with regards to justice instead of cronyism.

As it stands right now, Rubio is the only one on our side of the political spectrum who has a chance at sending Charlie packing. I’m sure Charlie would just love having some new meat to send his dogs after just to keep his mug in the news with something new.

I haven’t seen much of Rubio, but the few times I’ve heard him speak I got the impression he’s conservative and intelligent and would win big over Crist.

I’ve never heard of David’s choice but I’m not that familiar with Florida politics other than the obvious.

I’m curious about how the others match up against Crist. I’d love to see him go.

I wholeheartedly disagree with your analysis... but I have heard a lot of folks make the same argument.. so the GOP RINO MACHINE must be working just fine... :)

I just realized I printed the wrong Sample Ballot. I printed precinct 3505 Ballot, my ballot is actually precinct 3511. The only difference is that I am not elligible to vote in the FL-House-9 race.

While Charlie is on his “Camera Campaign” this summer, Marco is doing a Stonewall Jackson strategy of not firing until you see the whites of their eyes (but Charlie’s eyes are no longer white for obvious reasons).

I was holding off on Governor but have recently stepped over to Scott after meeting him and discussing some details of his agenda. Essentially I have gone to an attitude that any establishment Pol needs to be shown the door with extreme prejudice and more real businessmen given the opportunity to excell or suffer the same as their predecesors.

Marco has been in and out so he is the best shot we have right now and he has run his own firm. So he knows what it is like to meet a payroll.

I appreciate your entusiasm for Marco Rubio. Sorry I just don’t share it right now.. maybe after the primary, if he pulls it off I will have to hold my nose and vote for him.. but I have absolutely had it with the RINO GOP MACHINE blowing off good conservative candidates in the PRIMARY as if THEY get to decide who the nomminee will be and not US the ACTUAL voters. That is the main reason I joined with Tim Cox in the GOOOH Organization we hope to reach our needed 500,000 members before 2012 election cycle.

Rubio's main "crime" is that he did not pay David for shill services as no-name Eshoofly did.

You have decided to switch over to Scott after speaking with him. Did you give thought to all the plunder of our taxpayer dollars he has been associated with, both in his old company and new? I agree we shouldn’t be sending career politicians back to their jobs that they now feel are their birthright, and we’re like gnats. But when you elect people that can afford to buy the office you get people like Congressman Grayson from Orlando. I’m sure in reality he’s a very smart man, but he’s an embarrassment to everyone living in Florida. I understand McCollum is a career politician, but at least he has the experience of holding the job of Congressman and State Attorney General, so he’s written laws and enforced them. Maybe this is a good career ladder. Florida really needs a good governor now.

I agree. I have a very long list in mind of those I feel should go in the next couple of elections. And I’m no longer donating to the RNC because they just don’t seem to get it.

If Rubio WAS to ask for my advice, which he has not, but I have openly given it to him it would be simply this.

FOCUS ON THE PRIMARY BEFORE YOU FOCUS ON CRIST !

Charlie Crist is NOT in the Republican Primary so he is IRRELEVENT until AFTER 24 August 2010. Ignoring the other candidates in the PRIMARY makes you look like you are scared of them.

Marco Rubio is free to take my advise or leave it. But there it is...

Uh . . . . wasn’t Rubio the non-machine candidate? Rubio announced at least two months before Crist even made noises about it and when Crist did announce, barely two hours later the NRSC endorsed and sent money to Charlie. To this date more than a year later, I have not heard of Rubio getting any money from the RNC, NRSC or any other establishment lobbying.

That alone makes Rubio a non-establishment candidate.

so why does he not engage the other candidates in the PRIMARY. Why so much focus on Charlie AFTER he left the party. plenty of time to take that issue up after the PRIMARY is over
