You are absolutely correct, Agnes. The problem is that some people don’t see the bigger picture. The instigator of this power grab is no less than Satan, himself. People (wrongly), believe that once these people get a certain amount of power, they’ll just stop pushing for more.
THEY NEVER DO. There will never be a point at which these politicials, who want to be rulers over free men, will wake up and say, “I think I have enough power.” They will never, ever, stop until we are all enslaved, or more likely dead. Because evil can and only seeks to destroy.
We see the bigger picture, some will take a rude awakening before they will. Human nature, and the nature of this conflict is such, that there are no neutrals, EVER. People are either for freedom, or for tyranny, despotism, and enslavement. There is NO middle ground.
Total control has been attempted and occasionally put into tentative practice historically.
Never, though, did the powers that be in such a situation have the technological wherewithall to monitor each and every scrap of food production via GoogleEarth.
Everyone who thinks you can grow a few tomatoes in your backyard w/o anyone noticing? Ask those people in NY with the ‘unpermitted’ pools how that works out when the tax assessors get ahold of google earth...
In the end it’s still all about money (control thereof). If you’re eating your own (or your neighbors) produce you aren’t giving *them* they money they think they so richly deserve. See, your little tomato patch in the backyard costs them money. We can’t have that now, can we?
Actually there is a middle ground. There are those people who don't think anyone is really good or that anyone is really bad. That government would never try to exert total authority over the people. That nothing like that could ever happen here. Lukewarm people. People with no sense of discernment who can't find a reason to take either side.
