The country is going to go under, whether it is under the governance of the Democrats or the Republicans. What they are doing now is fighting over who gets to enjoy the spoils of office for the next few years.

Political correctness can trump everything. Politically correct ideology says that we should have homosexual marriage. Politically correct ideology says that anyone opposed to same-sex marriage is a bigot and hates homosexuals and others who are “different”. The MSM pushes these talking points, putting people on the defensive.

While I too think the GOP is wobbly on this issue, I think Politico.com is trying to change the debate and encourage more silence. Both Newt Gingrich and Mike Huckabee have spoken out against the ruling, and they have significant influence.

Politico didn't cite them.
