Joseph Debro, based on this writing, is either a complete fool or assumes that everyone else is fool enough to believe these illogical ramblings. Either way, his words are meaningless.
Uh, Joe, if blacks are being targeted exclusively for ethics crimes, you must be saying that there are plenty of white ethics criminals in Congress.
Names. Give us names. Or else quit yer bellyakin’.
His income, and the income of members of his organization, derives from minority set-asides in government construction contracts (which the Black Congressional caucus routinely lobbies for).
Blinded by his own self-interest, it's not surprising that he couldn't see a conflict-of-interest in the charges against Maxine Waters.
There, fixed.
I just knew this was about Race. Isn’t every charge against any black politician? It doesn’t maatter though. She could be convicted of murder and her district would still reelect her.
This piece is so lame and pathetic I actually thought it was satire at first. Oh yeh...its about RACE alright. If a member of Congress is black they get a free pass? Not anymore-—the bulk of US citizens can see this phoney melodrama and they know the score! Whatever happened to the ‘content of character’ part of the equation?
Despite the fact that MSNBC, ABC, CBS as well as many news organizations have reported on the story.
Liberals in general think corruption is a civil right.
“She’s black so this must be a racist attack” - is that the sum total of his argument?
You're being too kind. I think he's a dishonest racist. What Debro is suggesting is ethics investigation quotas, apportioned solely by race. Not fact. Not justice. Race. Worse, he's suggesting there be caps on investigations of wrongdoing--caps based solely on race. Outrageous.
They actually did this at my daughter’s elementary school (before I moved her to private school).
Teachers could only send-up unruly kids to the principals office, make them sit in the hall, or issue discplinary notices to parents on a racial quota basis. I found this out while volunteering in the classroom, it was not policy that the school told parents about.
One day a black girl was threatening other kids with scissors (she had serious problems) and I was told by the teacher that she couldn’t send her out in the hall in ‘time out’ because she had already reached her quota for the week in disciplining ‘minority’ kids.
“...The New York Times asked Maxine how could a Black woman and her husband accumulate $500,000. The Times would be amazed at how much wealth there is in the Black community....The New York Times tried to make a story out of this matter several months ago. They wanted to know how her family got $500,000...The spineless Democrats allowed this matter to reach this level even though it was in no way a conflict.”
If there is so much wealth in the black community, and they are continually taken for granted by white Democrats, then why do they continue to vote for them? Why do they continue to support their so-called “friends” in the elitist “white” liberal media who are solely concerned with self-congratulation no matter the result? The election of the first black president did absolutely nothing to solve the problems they cite.
They could build a black conservative powerhouse led by brilliant minds like Walt Williams and Thomas Sowell, and fundamentally change their communities for the better, if they would just give it one chance. And all of that wealth could buy some real influence that would not be taken for granted, because it is heavily sought after. But I guess old habits die hard...
Ain’t nothing uglier than a 72 YO black woman. Now before everyone goes ballistic, that line is a counter/take off to Redd Foxx’s comment that “there ain’t nothing uglier than a 70 YO white woman!
Because Maxine Waters and I are very good friends,
I kinda stopped reading right there...
Oh, ok... so glad we've cleared that up.
“It makes the Democrats look corrupt.”
My favorite line from the story! NO, they ARE corrput. Doesn’t take much effort to make them look that way.
and Ole Joe leaving himself open to a look into HIS books, work product, etc. Way to go, Joe. But I’m sure he’s as pure as the newly driven snow. Just like Maxine.
