Hunt down the perps, execute them.
The damage is done, the best you can do is make examples of these guys to deter the next piece of filth who decides he might want to play games.
You know I’m not sure that’s such a good idea.
Yes, there are things that should be classified/secret; however there are a *lot* of things which are that really shouldn’t be.
Perhaps the best way to articulate my stance is to repeat the line officials & ‘friends’ will tell you if you come under investigation: If you were doing nothing wrong then you would have nothing to hide. Like all effective lies it has some grain of truth to it; but the reality is that so many things are ‘illegal’ today, in such convoluted ways, that you probably ARE [technically] guilty of felonies just by “living life.” { See the videos here: http://ualbertalaw.typepad.com/faculty/2009/04/should-you-talk-to-the-cops.html }
Groups, like governments, are inherently less moral than the men that comprise them. This is because the guilt for wrongdoing can be spread across several-people to such a degree that it doesn’t weigh enough to bother their consciences, whereas the same act done solely by a participating individual might crush him. This is also evidenced in the way that people in authority can pass the responsibility ad infinitum to wear you out when you find something wrong with “the system;” my State Constitution prohibits the “abridg[ing of] the right of the citizen to keep and bear arms for security and defense[...]” yet there are state statutes that prohibit firearms, such as on campus [thus abridging the right of any citizen living in on-campus housing].
If our government was honest and deeply concerned about Justice and Righteousness then it wouldn’t scatter and get all excited — like cockroaches — when exposed by the light of Truth. Instead we have institutionalized corruption and outright politically-motivated denial-of-justice and a serious lack of responsibility/accountability. {Two words, one proof: “Social Security.”}
