That says it all right there. We know what kind of judges these two would make. Could the GOP be growing a spine, or at least the makings of a spine? Naaaah, the supreme court confirmation showed that aint happening.

This is far from a victory.
While virtualy “playing dead” during the confirmation of Kagan, the Rs are only using a pariamentary manouver to skirt the issue here, which will undoubtedly be sent back for another go-round after the recess.
It may be more spine than we’re used to seeing from these Republicrats, but it’s hardly the kind of opposition that the Demicans put forth to block a huge number of Bush nominees.

What’s sad - these two were probably more qualified to sit on the bench than Kagan... Not that any of them need to be anywhere near a courthouse except in Shackles and an orange jump suit with their buddy the Communist ONE.
