The Irony of this is that the first organization of a government structures by Americans in Oregon were the wolf meetings. You’re pretty much up-to-date on wildlife legislation. I seem to recall that the original congressional legislation re-introducing wolves into Yellowstone called for a limit of 200 wolves. And there was a clause stating that the wolves would be culled if they caused economic damage.
