An eastern Washington man wants others to join him for "Burn a Confederate Flag Day" on September 12th.
The liberal blogger says he plans to wear a clown outfit and carry a singed confederate flag to a tea party gathering on September 12th.
The man hopes that his burning of the flag will incite conversations with other attendees about race. "I'll take a partially burned flag, probably dress up as a clown and have a discussion about race with some of these people."
"I think that a lot of the rhetoric that they [the tea party] are driven by is racist. ...

The lib blogs are all excited about baiting the Tea Party into defending the Stars and Bars. They’ll be in full video mode.

I’m pure yankee and think this guy is a moron.
First the confedrate battle flag has nothing to do with race and I’m sure plenty of southern blacks have proudly flown it.
Racism was just as common in the north as in the south. The Klan reached their peak power in Indiana.
Personally I think it would be a lot more fun burning a clown uniform.

A clown wearing a “clown outfit”. Liberals can never come up with anything original.

This guy is having a mental breakdown. Watch what happens when he manages to set fire to his clown suit ~ he'll be hollering for "HELP" from the TEAParty people.
The proper Libertarian response would be to look within and see if he really needs it before acting precipitously.

An eastern Washington man I'm not impressed. Do it in small town Georgia or Alabama. Then I might be impressed.

Follow him around as that did at other Tea Parties with signs saying “Plant”, “Agent Provocateur”, “obamazombie” with arrows pointing to him.

Another idiot who cannot image anyone opposing a Democrat on policy. Their tiny minds can only conclude that the tea party is driven by racism.

Yeah, we wouldn't want to take any unilateral action without first forming a committee to consider possible courses of action.

Hey, Crip, one of my older cousins (close relative in fact) CRUSHED THE KLAN in Indiana. He was a Republican. Actually, the Republicans were reputedly controlled by DCStephenson ~ who, as it turned out, also controlled the Democrats.
Historically I consider it one of those German things ~ a dry run preceding the Nazi stuff in the old homeland. In those days German Americans in Indiana still maintained contact with the old country. One of the reasons to not import too many of any one kind too soon.
