I agree with you.
You wanna know what these spotlight endorsements are really about?? They do serve a purpose, you know. In every case it is about the endorser! These pols are building a base by chit trading for a future campaign run, for one position or another, to enlarge their profile, and for influence with perceived constituencies that will enhance the nether regions of the endorsers. These obsessions of one-upmanship on endorsement victories is synonomous with 4th grade class politics and beneath the dignity of serious grassrooters.

Correct. In an ideal world, general elections would be like Republican primaries in conservative states like Kansas-- a spirited contest to see who had the best ideas and plans for moving the country forward and promoting the general welfare of our people rather than the specific welfare of the ruling class and their dependent class enablers.
