I'm sorry for being so late in replying but I've been under the weather the last few days. This is in response to the posts expressing doubt about my statement about Confederate crimes and tyranny against Southern civilians. I suggest y'all check up on a book called Bitterly Divided by professor David Williams of Valdosta State University. It does a thorough job of refuting the ":Lost Cause" myth of a united Confederacy and puts forth a strong argument that Southerners themselves deserve a large share of the credit for defeating the Confederacy.
