BP Says 'Static Kill' on Gulf Well Is Successful

Yep. They have sent the Cement Kill Pill down. Was at 7 pm cst. That is probably why the leaking has stopped. Now, how do they know the cement has worked ? No BOP leaking ? Here is the announcement.

Statement by National Incident Commander Admiral Thad Allen:

"Based on the successful completion of the static kill procedure and a positive evaluation of the test results, I have authorized BP to cement its damaged well. I made it clear that implementation of this procedure shall in no way delay the completion of the relief well."

That’s what I don’t like about FR. One person like you gets away with complete lies. Those “leaks” are coming from the capping stack and nothing to do with the kill.

Not the new one. Skandi 1 was on it all night and for most of the day today. Videos are on post # 8. They popped it during the Top Kill. Marine_Uncle first observed it on another thread. Just because BP/Obama/MSM failed tell you it occurred, does not mean it did not happen. That is why we like Free Republic.

I don’t see an actual leak, just a ROV clearing the “beehive” formed from hydrates. This is above the choke, therefore not related to the kill (mud went down, not up). Anything above the choke is whatever was present when the cap was dropped. 0, Gibbs, and the MSM are spinners and liars. I get my information from theoildrum.com

That explains it. The Oil Drum has been ignoring most of the anomalies. That is the top of the BOP, not any where near the choke. There were two leaks in the old BOP. One occurred after they capped it, and another occurred after they did the Top Kill. Videos of both leaking oil seals have been posted to many threads here. Just do a little research here. Check the old threads. The videos still play.

Here is my last attempt to show you what happened. The reason it is hard to see the leak in the previous video is because the ROV was shooting a jet nozzle of water at the leak. And the leak was briefly mentioned on an Oil Drum thread. Here is a better macro shot. Again my final post on this topic.
