Dr. Escoffery for U.S. Senate (FLORIDA) is more PRO-LIFE than Marco Rubio
Dr. Escoffery (Official Campaign Website) PRO-LIFE Position ^ | UNK | Dr. Escoffery

PRO-LIFE

I am 100% PRO-LIFE and completely ANTI-ABORTION.

It is a travesty that approximately 52 Million unborn American Citizens have been murdered in our country under the "Roe v. Wade" doctrine propounded by Supreme Court "Justice" Harry Blackmun. I personally pray that this MONSTER will burn in Satan's ovens for eternity.

I believe that the ONLY excuse for abortion is a situation where the mother's LIFE (ie., IMMEDIATE PHYSICAL SURVIVAL) is threatened by the fetus. (And that means no "Mental-Health" exceptions, either).

Therefore I am against all funding for abortion services, all transportation across state lines for this abomination, all provision of abortion to underage children, all abortion without maternal ultrasound, all abortion without "spousal" or parental notification; and I am against abortion for Rape or Incest. I am against all "morning-after" pills and IUDs (which cause early abortion).

In cases of rape or incest, I would encourage the mother to delay all action for an extended time-period while undergoing mental health counseling and targeting an adoption outcome. In the face of a valid psychiatric opinion that such a mother would be severely mentally harmed by carrying the pregnancy to full-term, I would authorize early induced, LIVE-BIRTH delivery (as late as possible) with intensive neonatal salvage-care for the pre-term fetus. (And let's have the Rapist or Incestuous family member pay that bill).

BUT NO ABORTION WOULD BE PERMITTED in "My America" except for "Immediate threat to life of mother." (And God bless the mothers I've known who declined even that termination to take a chance on a double victory!)

Bill

P.S. NO EUTHANASIA EITHER!

I just got off the phone with the Florida Right to Life to inquire as to why Dr. Escoffery did not receive their endorsement over Marco Rubio, as Dr. Escoffery's position on the issue can't be any more PRO-LIFE. I was told that because he ...is a Doctor and not an INCUMBANT POLITICIAN who has "voted" on the issue that he did not meet the criteria for the endorsement. Having said that Please read Dr. Escoffery's PRO-LIFE statement and decide for yourself if he is more Pro-Life and Marco Rubio... Having said that, if PRO-LIFE is YOUR main issue, vote for Dr. Escoffery on August 24th

Dr. Escoffery is running in the REPUBLICAN PRIMARY against Marco Rubio... The winner of the Republican Primary will face Charlie Crist in November. This thread is intended to educate FLORIDA VOTERS that Marco Rubio has NOT yet won the PRIMARY, however he and his campaign are acting as if the primary is already over and that is just bad politics IMHO.

Great, another vote for Crist.

This is the primary. Crist isn't in the primary. I like Rubio, but a vote for a challenger in the primary is not a vote for Crist.

What about repealing Obamacare?
Look, now's not the time to be throwing a snit because a candidate isn't pure as the driven conservative snow. Rubio IS CONSERVATIVE. He is far better than Crist and he has the best chance of winning. He will vote to repeal Obamacare.

There is only ONE Pro-Life candidate who can win and that is Marco Rubio.
At this point a vote for the Doc only increase the chance Crist will win.

I’m more pro-life than Dr. Escoffery, since I don’t even support the “life of the mother” caveat.

That being said, here’s hoping Rubio wins, and that people like Dr. Escoffery don’t hand the election to Charlie Crist.

I like Rubio, but a vote for a challenger in the primary is not a vote for Crist.

It's relevant because this Escoffery character doesn't have a prayer against Crist in the general. He has no name recognition and money. If he wins the primary, he will be immediately written off.

Crist is being funded and supported by the Obama/DNC establishment. They are disregarding the Democrat in the race and supporting Crist.

Repealing Obamacare is far more important than advancing the pro-life agenda right now. If Obamacare stands, not just the unborn will continue to die - it'll be the sick, the terminally ill, and seniors. Get it through your thick skulls you 1%ers are just going to F things up and hand the race over to a flip-flopping metrosexual scumbag.

Rubio is open-borders. How is this guy on the AZ law? If he supports the AZ law he could win this thing.

Conservatives will never vote for Crist and most now know Rubio is Mel Martinez 2.

” ... if PRO-LIFE is YOUR main issue, vote for Dr. Escoffery on August 24th ... “

I disagree. If your issue is stopping PRO-DEATH of Innocent life, then Crist MUST BE STOOPED, and a vote for Marco Rubio is required! A vote for Dr. Escoffery at this point will insure Crist selection, and PRO-DEATH agenda.

Thank you Dr. Sivana, you clearly understand the purpose of a PRIMARY, I get sick of people saying that when we vote for a more solid conservative over a GOP RINO in a Primary that we are giving the race to the LEFT... we proved that is NOT the case when the GOP chose JOHN McCAIN in ‘08.

Republicans need to start putting the STRONGEST CONSERVATIVE in the race against the left, no more RINOS !

Rubio is pro-LaRaza.

How is this doctor on illegal immigration?

We know how Marcos Rubios blocked AZ-like laws when he was the LEADER in the FL House.

It's relevant because this Escoffery character doesn't have a prayer against Crist in the general. He has no name recognition and money. If he wins the primary, he will be immediately written off.

It's also relevant because, from the tone and tenor of his statement, this Dr. Escoffery sounds exactly like the type of cat who, after he inevitably loses the primary, will affirm that his "sacred principles" require, nay DEMAND, that he run as a third party independent candidate, thus helping to strip away more votes that Rubio will need to beat Charles the Orange.

Frankly, I have to say - if a person's "principles" include helping to hand elections to liberal Democrats (or Crist, but I'm being redundant), then their "principles" aren't worth wiping off my shoe in the grass.

Thanks for asking !

Dr. Escoffery on IMMIGRATION as posted on his website (link above)

MY POSITION ON IMMIGRATION
At the outset, let me be clear: I am 100% in favor of LEGAL immigration. That is what made America the Great Nation it is today and what allowed people like myself to come here and build our very own ‘American Dream.’

I also want to be very clear that I enjoy ‘Latin Culture.’ I particularly like the ‘Plantainos’, rice ‘n black beans and all the great cooking — so reminiscent of my own Island home of Jamaica — that I enjoyed when I lived in Miami! During that time I had many cultured Latino intimates from throughout the Caribbean whose friendship I treasured. My wife Les, loves to dance the Salsa and even instructed in Latin Dance before I met her.

On the other hand I am committed to doing everything I can to shut down The Mexican Invasion, close our Southern Borders and keep those illegal trespassers, drug smugglers, criminals and free-loaders out of our country.

I am a naturalized citizen. It took me six (6) years to get here legally from the Island of Jamaica. I had to become a Canadian Citizen before I could cross the Detroit Bridge legally, on the 4th. July 1975 and come here — with my medical diploma and specialist certificate in hand. (I was bringing an asset to America and did not intrude as a free-loader).

And I am going to make sure that everyone does it may way: THAT IS, CROSSES OUR BORDER LEGALLY.

Do not forget either, that the current uncontrolled stream of murderous thugs coming up from Mexico represents a threat of terrorist infiltration of our country. Moreover, the cost of these illegal immigrants and their families to our social services sector in health-care and welfare expenses, etc. far outweighs any benefit to our economy from discounted wages for unskilled labor.

Let’s be frank: Obama & the democrats favor the illegals because they want to purchase their votes. It’s as simple as that.

My plan involves closing all the borders including Florida’s ocean boundaries, guarding those international zones with armed forces, rounding up the illegal trespassers and sending them home to join the line. “Anchor Babies” can stay here with legal family relatives in informal “Foster-Care” (at no cost to the U.S.) or return home with illegal parents to return at their option upon achieving adulthood.

Meantime I support a Constitutional Amendment to deny Citizenship status to persons born here of illegal parents. And I also plan to stiffen and fully prosecute laws against employers of illegal interlopers.

I challenge you to question my competitors on this issue and get a straight answer that clearly protects the rights of legal citizens!

Bill
