Where's the appeal for donatons? How do you think the NRA, GOA, etc. determine their ratings of politicians? I'll give you a hint. Besides what the politicians say, their votes count too.

The NRA keeps asking me for money to block the Obama appointments for the Supreme Court among other things. They didnt block the first one and they wont block this one.
