To: I Buried My Guns
That is such a big bunch of crap. I am a female Vietnam Era Veteran. I volunteered for the Air Force. I did whatever jobs were assigned to me, and I never used my gender in any way whatsoever to to get ahead or to get out of doing any job that was assigned to me. I did my job very well, and often received commendations because of it.

I competed for promotion at the same level as all my male counterparts, but when I was in, women were not allowed to be in combat, so I could not earn any combat metals, which are part of the promotion process. No matter, I studied hard for the tests, and I got great performance evaluations, and I got promoted right on schedule.

Military women are an integral part of our armed services and you might as well get used to it.

Your personal anecdote does not constitute evidence.

The fact that you yourself did not manipulate the system has no bearing on those that do/did.

Your story is of statistical insignifigance to the greater demographic trend.
